Yes, it's the 25th Anniversary of Australia's Short Film Festival and it's screening here in Crescent Head, Gladstone, and Kempsey in February. 

The Macleay Valley Arts Council has had a great partnership with Flickerfest and is proud that there is the opportunity for these screenings. 

MVAC spokesperson for the three big nights, Steve MacDonald says, 'Flickerfest's Film Director, Bronwyn Kidd is delighted that the Short Films are to screen in so many venues around Australia from February through to May including the Macleay. She says that this year's short films from Australia as well as overseas won't disappoint. It's a real positive for the Valley and an opportunity to see the latest top class Short Films.' 

Through MVAC, the three different programs to be screened over the three nights is more than most other venues including capital cities! 

Screening dates are: Crescent Head School Thursday, Feb 11 (Best Australian) Gladstone Community Hall Friday, Feb 12 (International Program 1) Kempsey Oddfellows Hall Saturday, Feb 13 ( International Program 2) All sessions start at 7.30pm.
