INSPIRED TO DRAW

Fiona Scope returns to the Gaol to help you improve your drawing skills. For beginners (aged 15 years and above), or experienced artists who would like to improve their drawing skills.

Topics covered will include:

• Contour Drawing Techniques
• Negative space verse positive space
• Portraiture

We will also cover the following topics in detail:

• The role of left and right hemispheres of the brain when drawing. Reference: Drawing from the right side of the brain, Dr Betty Edwards.
• The history of illustration. Reference: Leonardo on the body.

Session times: 10am for 1.5 hours

Cost: $25 per person, includes Gaol entry.
