Macleay ValleyArts Council Inc
After a run of the most dreadful weather we are very keen to see our Market held on Sunday 16th May.
We will have our guest Arts & Craft people at the Market showcasing their skills. There will be demonstrations by several very talented people during the course of the day. Our Stallholders will have a huge variety of products and are eager to welcome Visitors on Market Day.
There will also be tasty food, great coffee and wonderful sweet treats.
Our music for the day will be “The Shufflemen” featuring Tom Goodwin, Phil Simon & Gus Schroder. They are a three-piece blues (and other hues) band with a wealth of experience in most genres of music with a mix of original & covers which is sure to delight our visitors on the day.
Visitors are asked to note that there will be one entrance and exit and EVERYBODY is requested to be responsible in signing in on entry and hand sanitising when entering the Market. There will be QR codes at the entry point or there will be sign-in sheets available for people unable to scan our QR code as well.
I am sure our Visitors understand that these measures are in place to provide a safe environment for all our Visitors as well as protecting our Gladstone Community. It also allows contact tracing should this become necessary.
Gladstone township will be open for business as well with many shops and businesses open on the day as well as Cafes and the Hotel.
So come along, bring the family and enjoy a great day out in the beautiful township of Gladstone. We hope to see you there.
