Music in the Regions and Macleay Valley Arts Council present the extraordinary combination of guitarist Andrew Blanch and harpist Emily Granger in Suite mágica.

Displaying the versatility, energy, and beauty of these much-loved instruments, in Suite mágica Blanch and Granger will share some of the finest music from their explorations, including exciting new commissions by Australia’s leading composers, arrangements of popular favourites, and more.  

About Andrew Blanch
Armed with formidable talent, passion, and conviction, guitarist Andrew Blanch has carved out his own path with a musical vision that equally values both the tradition and the inherent potential of this continuingly evolving artform. His sought-after performances are delivered with great personal warmth and artistic consideration and are acclaimed for their ability to enhance the audience's connection with the music and the moment. 

About Emily Granger
Emily Granger (USA) has firmly established herself in the Australian concert scene, with a busy schedule as a soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician. Emily has performed around the world as Guest Principal Harp with the Chicago, Sydney, and Tasmanian Symphony Orchestras, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Orchestra Victoria, and Opera Australia Orchestra and given chamber recitals at Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage.

About Music in the Regions
Music in the Regions (MitR) is a newly formed independent touring organisation established to connect classical musicians with regional audiences and facilitate transformative musical experiences across New South Wales. These musicians will perform in regions not traditionally visited, reinvigorating regional venues into concert venues, and fostering a vibrant, world-class New South Wales classical music industry.
